Life at Faye
At Faye, every day is a journey. Whether you’re building the next generation of travel products, coding new solutions, or helping travelers navigate the unexpected, your work here has a real impact on real people. Our team is as diverse as the destinations our travelers explore–made up of 62% women, 50% parents, and a few office pets. Since launching in 2022, we’ve accomplished what others in the travel insurance industry only dream of–and we’re just getting started. At Faye, we believe in growing together, having fun along the way, and making every day count.
What we’re looking for
We are looking for a sharp, detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist to join our team on a temporary basis for 2 to 3 months on a W2 contract. You’ll be a vital part of our Claims Team, acting as the air traffic control for our communication channels. When our automated systems don't have enough information to match an email to a claim, you'll be there to help.
While this is a temporary role to start, we provide equipment and benefits for the duration of the contract—and for the right person who proves to be "Faye-tastic," there is potential for this to turn into a permanent adventure within the company.
Responsibilities
- Inbox Excellence: Monitor, sort, and delegate incoming emails within a high-volume, claims-specific inbox.
- Critical Sorting: Use sharp reading and critical thinking skills to determine the best supporting party for complex inquiries that bypass automated sorting.
- Claims Support: Perform various administrative tasks to support the Claims Team in providing fast, proactive problem-solving for our travelers.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the claims and customer experience teams to ensure no traveler is left waiting.
Requirements
- 1-2 years experience in administrative and/or customer support roles, ideally within an office setting
- Tech Savvy. Proficiency navigating Google products & email servers on a MacBook.
- A sharp eye for attention to detail
- Excellent reading comprehension and clear written communication skills.
- Ability to work 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday
- Location: Ability to work primarily from home, but must be willing to attend on-site training at our office in Richmond, Virginia.
