What we're looking for
Faye is looking for a Brand & Marketing Designer to join our Communications & Brand team. In this role, you’ll play a large part in shaping how Faye shows up in the world by bringing our visual identity to life across marketing, digital, product-adjacent, and brand touchpoints.
After launching in 2022 with the first ever, person-first modern travel insurance for Americans, Faye has taken the industry by storm with a quick, easy and lovable approach to a space that hasn’t seen innovation in decades. One that generates daily 5-star praise from customers.
Now, it’s time to kick things up a notch, by elevating our design language across online assets, sales collateral, socials, events and more, to clearly showcase our brand’s personality and tech-first approach while ensuring travelers and our travel partners deepen their emotional connection to Faye.
Reporting to the team’s Art Director, you’ll work with key stakeholders across teams company-wide to create clear, consistent, aesthetically-pleasing and engaging storytelling across a variety of platforms. Responsibilities
- Create and execute visual concepts that elevate the Faye brand across campaigns, social media, presentations, landing pages, print (sales collateral and merchandise), events and other marketing materials.
- Collaborate with the Comms, Growth Marketing, Biz Dev, HR and Ops to create cohesive, effective storytelling that supports business goals.
- Maintain and evolve Faye’s brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all channels.
- Develop marketing assets that communicate key messages clearly while protecting and strengthening Faye’s visual identity.
- Identify opportunities to enhance our brand presence through smarter design systems and workflows.
- Generate original ideas for social, product launches, and brand-led initiatives.
- Manage projects from concept to final delivery with strong attention to timing, rhythm, and detail.
Requirements
- 4-5 years of experience in brand or marketing design, preferably at a high-growth startup catering to American consumers.
- A strong portfolio showcasing visual storytelling, typography, layout, and digital and print design.
- Experience creating ads, landing pages, emails, sales collateral, decks and more.
- High proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Fluent English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently from concept to execution, delivering polished and effective creative work.
- Pixel-perfect attention to detail and a strong aesthetic sense.
- Understanding of web design and responsive design principles.
- Familiarity with AI-driven design workflows and tools.
- Experience with After Effects is a plus.
- Experience with systems like Sanity and Unbounce is a plus.
- A growth mindset, openness to feedback, and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
