What we’re looking for:
Faye is looking for a Motion Designer to join our Communications & Brand team. In this role, you’ll play a large part in shaping how Faye shows up in the world by creating motion assets that bring our brand to life across campaigns, product launches, social media, and marketing channels.
After launching in 2022 with the first ever, person-first modern travel insurance for Americans, Faye has taken the industry by storm with a quick, easy and lovable approach to a space that hasn’t seen innovation in decades. One that generates daily 5-star praise from customers.
Now, it’s time to kick things up a notch, by elevating our design language across online assets, sales collateral, socials, events and more, to clearly showcase our brand’s personality and tech-first approach while ensuring travelers and our travel partners deepen their emotional connection to Faye.
Reporting to the team’s Art Director, you’ll work with key stakeholders across teams company-wide to create clear, consistent, aesthetically-pleasing and engaging storytelling across a variety of platforms. Responsibilities
- Create high-quality motion graphics, animations, and video content for campaigns, social media, product storytelling, our award-winning app and travel advisor portal and large brand moments.
- Translate brand guidelines into motion that enhances clarity, personality, and impact across all channels.
- Collaborate with our in-house designers, content creators, growth marketers and product team conceptualize and deliver motion assets that support our business goals.
- Develop motion systems and templates that keep our brand consistent and scalable.
- Edit, refine, and finalize videos for distribution across digital platforms and paid media.
- Generate new ideas and approaches for motion that elevate our brand and improve how we communicate visually.
- Manage projects from concept to final delivery with strong attention to timing, rhythm, and detail.
Requirements
- 4-5 years of experience in motion design, preferably at a high-growth startup catering to American consumers.
- A strong portfolio showcasing motion graphics, animation, video editing, typography in motion, and brand-led storytelling.
- High proficiency in After Effects and Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Experience with Figma and designing motion that aligns with static brand assets.
- Fluent English, with strong communication skills and the ability to present ideas clearly.
- Ability to work independently and take concepts from sketch to final polished output.
- Pixel-perfect attention to detail with a strong grasp of timing, pacing, and visual rhythm.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted motion and creative tools.
- A growth mindset, openness to feedback, and comfort working in a fast-paced environment.
